CREATE A BOOTABLE USB USING RUFUS(FREE)

1. To create a Bootable USB first you need to download RUFUS                           software from here: RUFUS            

2. After downloading the RUFUS install it

 3. It will ask for update notification click yes or no anything

 4. Then open the RUFUS

5.The Software  User Interface  will be something Like this

6. The software will automatically detect the USB or pen drive if not select it manually like this:

7.If there are multiple USB'S carefully select the USB and verify it again

8.In the partition scheme and target system type row ,the software by default selects:MBR PARTITION SCHEME FOR BIOS OR UEFI ,do not change it.

9. If it is not set,manually set it to 
MBR PARTITION SCHEME FOR BIOS OR UEFI (Safest way)

 10.Now under format options,please select

• Quick format    

• Create a Bootable disk using

• Create extended label and icon files 

11. Now beside, Create a Bootable disk using, select ISO File like this:                           

 12.After selecting ISO File, click on the small disk button beside it 

13. Then select the OS or ISO file by going to that location

 14. Now click on start

 15.You may or may not see a popup like this,But if you see like this please select the first option that is:WRITE IN ISO IMAGE MODE(RECOMMENDED)

 16.It will show a warning ,click OK by this you are completely formatting the USB and making it BOOTABLE USB

 17.After all this steps you will see the User Interface something like this       saying Ready

18. Now your Bootable USB is ready to Boot

CREATE A BOOTABLE USB USING POWER ISO (PAID)

 

1.To create a Bootable USB first you need to download power  ISO                              software from here
                           POWER iso(download)             

2. After downloading the power ISO install it

 3. To register for power ISO you have to Purchase it From Online  

 4. Then open the power ISO 

 5.In the menu bar you can see tools option click on it

 6.select the option Create Bootable USB Drive

 7.It will ask for administrator access ,press OK

 8.choose the iso file or the os file which you want to boot by selecting the folder icon as you see below

 9. The software automatically detects the USB injected or choose it manually

 10. Click on start Button and Press OK ,then you can see a prompt,Press OK

FORMAT USB USING COMMAND PROMPT

This can be also be done for:
1. if USB is showing 2 mb instead of 4 or 8 or 16 gb
2. if unable to format normally

Step 1: Run  command prompt as administrator

Step 2: Type diskpart

Step 3: Then type list disk,(which will show all disks available in your pc or laptop)

 Step 4: Identify your USB disk according to its size

           Here,it is disk 1 so I will type select disk 1

NOTE:CHECK THE DISK CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU SELECT

Step 5: type clean

 Step 6: type: create partition primary

Step 7: type: select partition 1

 Step 8: type: active

Step 9: type: format fs*ntfs quick

 Step 10: type, assign

 After this you can type exit and your USB is ready to us again
